Paynt, a Lithuania-based payment technology company, has announced the acquisition of Canadian firm E-xact Transactions, marking a significant step in its strategic expansion across North America.

Golino will oversee the integration of E-xact into Paynt’s platform and lead the company’s go to market activities in the region.

“With a new established presence in Connecticut and Vancouver, we are entering a new chapter in building Paynt’s North American footprint and reinforcing our global leadership in payment solutions,”
said Sam Kohli, founder and Group CEO of Paynt.
Founded more than 25 years ago, E-xact Transactions provides rapid and secure payment processing, with transaction times under one second.
Its platform supports major e-commerce providers including Shopify, Magento and WooCommerce.
Paynt is also considering further acquisition opportunities in the US, with plans to conclude another transaction by the end of 2025.
