The Baltic states, namely Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, have seen the growth of a vibrant startup ecosystem over the past years. Today, the region is home to over 5,000 startups and scaleups, according to Dealroom, including 12 unicorns.

To showcase the region’s hottest startups and most promising innovations, a number of large scale events are being organized in the Baltics each year.

Today, we look at the top six upcoming fintech events taking place in the coming months in Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia. These events are mostly focused on the broader tech scene, but with fintech taking such a big place in the region’s startup ecosystem, all of these events have fintech sessions and conferences scheduled in their agendas.

The metaverse has been one of the hottest trends in the tech world this past year, and will continue to dominate headlines moving forward.

TechChill is one of the main events in the Baltics focusing on the tech and startup ecosystem, bringing together each year 2,300+ attendees, including over 300 of the fastest-growing startups, most innovative corporations, 200 investors active in the region, 100 media representatives, and talented tech enthusiasts.

Latitude59 2022, an annual startup conference, will take place on May 19 and 20, 2022 in Tallinn, Estonia at the Kultuurikatel, a century-old power plant transformed into a one-of-the-kind creative hub.

Startup Fair is an annual and the main international startup ecosystem event in Lithuania organized by Startup Lithuania. Startup Fair. Connect 2022, taking place on May 26, 2022, will bring together the startup community to meet, build bonds and create meaningful connections.

This year’s event is expected to bring together more than 1,500 attendees, 60 speakers, 60 investors, 200 startups, and 44 pitch battle participants.

Participants will get to hear from local and international experts who will discuss the hottest industry trends, and share their success stories. Participants will also get to see promising startups pitch their and compete on stage.

The event will feature a matchmaking platform where participants will get to discover the most relevant attendees including startups and investors, and arrange meetings with them.

Startup Day is one of the biggest business festival in the Baltics, bringing together startups, traditional entrepreneurs, investors, innovators, and students. The aim of the event is to connect like-minded people and celebrate entrepreneurship in the smart city of Tartu, Estonia.

This year’s Startup Day will feature a marvelous stage program, effective matchmaking, hands-on seminars, demo area full of innovation and vibrant side events. The inspirational-educational program will consist of various topics, ranging from marketing to space tech, fundraising to the smart city, and artificial intelligence (AI) to the creative economy.

Confirmed speakers include top executives from fintech companies Paxful and Jeff App, as well as banks and governmental agencies.
