Kriptomat has transitioned to the next phase of its platform wind-down plan.
According to Računalniške novice, the cryptocurrency platform ceased providing all regulated services on 30 June 2026.
The platform is now in a read-only phase, running from 1 July to 1 September 2026.
During this period, users can no longer execute transactions but retain access to their account data and billing history.
After 1 September 2026, general platform access will end.
The company stated that any remaining funds will be handled on an individual basis by a winding-up manager and the support team to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Kriptomat recommends users migrate their digital assets to Kraken as a primary alternative.
The company highlighted Kraken as a regulated option that aligns with the European Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) framework.
To simplify the transfer process and access promotional offers, Kriptomat advises users to register their new Kraken accounts using their existing email addresses.
The company is urging remaining users to initiate their asset transfers promptly to avoid complications as the final stages of the wind-down progress.
