Description

As the Head of Commerce Operations, your primary role will be to own the performance of the Commerce platform. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and key operational stakeholders, you will proactively identify and resolve product-related challenges. Your expertise in product operations and commitment to operational excellence will ensure they can scale successfully worldwide.

What does Commerce do?

Commerce is responsible for everything related to money which is not financial planning or accounting. We are building a financial services platform to enable Bolt business lines to focus on their core business and we take care of moving money between customers and service providers.

Responsibilities
  • Collecting, quantifying & prioritizing product-related opportunities. You will actively gather and evaluate feedback from users, quantify and prioritize opportunities for consideration by the product and engineering teams.
  • Launching new markets and products in cooperation with the business teams. Your strategic thinking and project management abilities will ensure successful launches and adoption across different markets.
  • Designing and implementing operational systems and processes. You will contribute to the design and implementation of operational systems and processes that optimize the efficiency and scalability of Commerce operations. Your expertise will drive operational excellence and streamline workflows.
  • Leading a team of product operations specialists. You will have managers reporting to you, as well as individual contributors.
  • Managing relationships with a large number of external partners relating to payment processing, fraud prevention and tax solutions.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in successfully managing and delivering complex projects preferably in the FinTech or RegTech space.
  • Excellent project & program management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
