- Intergiro will offer its embedded finance services to clients in the Finnish market
- Intergiro’s API-suite of offerings includes white label banking services, card issuing, payment processing, and more
- Client base already includes neobanks, payments institutions and crypto exchanges
Sweden-based fintech pioneer Intergiro is launching its Banking as a Service (BaaS) platform, Intergiro.3d, in the Finnish market.
Intergiro.3d is an all-in-one embedded financial toolkit
Intergiro.3d is designed for businesses to build their own financial solutions or embed financial operations into their products and services. Its flexible APIs enable clients to create anything from card programmes, to white-label banking services, to fully-fledged neobank-style financial institutions. A key differentiator is Intergiro’s top-up feature, which enables customers to instantly top up their account using third party cards.
“People today are not content with off-the-shelf ideas anymore,” says Adam Sadler, Chief Commercial Officer at Intergiro. “By providing a comprehensive suite of embedded finance APIs, Intergiro reduces the barriers to entry for new companies wanting to provide innovative financial services to their target market, catering specifically to their customers’ needs.”
Finland is the up-and-coming European fintech hub
Intergiro views Finland as an exciting new jurisdiction in which to offer Banking as a Service solutions, with a large roster of potential clients and recognition as some of the earliest adopters of fintech innovation in Europe. Already there are over 200 fintech companies with revenue exceeding 1 billion euros, illustrating the strong potential Finland has to develop into a major European tech hub.
This is an important first step in the fintech’s launch in the Nordics. Clear national regulations have paved the way for an extremely high number of fintechs per capita in Finland, and the number of businesses looking to embed financial services, based on received inquiries, is higher than in other countries.
BaaS is the next leap forward in financial tech
Intergiro’s head of BaaS sales, Gustaf Hult, sees Banking as a Service as a natural step in the financial evolution, making it easier than ever before for companies to provide great value to their customers.
“Banks have owned the right to access financial industries, which has really limited technological development in the sector,” Hult states. “By giving fintechs and corporates direct access to a prebuilt, easy-to-access toolkit of financial services delivered via state-of-the-art APIs, BaaS providers like Intergiro.3d will become a natural part of any corporate. By embedding financial services into their customers’ journey, without the regulatory hassle, we enable companies to focus on their core business.”
