Description

As Payment Operations Analyst at Hokodo, you will be responsible for running and improving our critical payment processes. Merchants and buyers rely on us to process their payments correctly, so it’s important we deliver timely, accurate and compliant payment processing.

Working in Payment Operations will enable you to gain a deep understanding of how our business functions and how we can make our Operations more scalable. You will work with multiple teams across Hokodo, such as Finance, Collections, Data & Analytics, as well as banking and payment services providers to provide a high level of Execute daily payments and payouts, and reconcile cash across all of our accounts service to our customers and continuously improve our Payments processes.

Location

We would like you to work from our office in Vilnius a couple of days per week, joining our team of dedicated professionals and making your mark on the world of B2B e-commerce.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure our daily cash management processes are robust, our payment flows are efficient, and our payment partners are delivering the best possible service
  • Ensure our payments processes comply with EMI regulations
  • Support the preparation of internal and external reports for submission with the regulator
  • Analyse payments data and make recommendations to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our processes, working closely with Product and Tech to implement these
  • Proactively identify and resolve discrepancies within our books and records
  • Work closely with Finance, Collections and Data & Analytics to improve reporting for all payments related processes
  • Promptly deal with escalations and queries from our Customer Support team
  • Support the wider Operations and Finance teams with ad-hoc requests
  • Ensure that our payment policies and processes are regularly updated and reflect any regulatory changes

  • You have at least 2 years of experience in an operational or accounting role within banking or finance or payments
  • You have a general understanding of EMI rules and regulations
  • You have a high sense of ownership and accountability and are proactive about identifying and solving problems
  • You have strong communication skills in English and Lithuanian, another European language is a plus
  • You are diligent, with a high attention to detail
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a multinational team
  • You can adapt to new systems easily
  • You’re interested in fintech and thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
