As a Finance Analyst in Rides, you will play a role in strategic and operational decision-making by analysing performance and creating insights. You will take part in weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly business reviews, providing critical input that shapes the company’s direction. In this role, you will also take part in budgeting, analyzing, and revising operating costs, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost efficiency. Partnering closely with Rides Finance, Rides Leadership, and Local Teams, you will help develop scalable solutions that support growth, profitability, and operational excellence across the vertical. You will be involved in building complex financial models working with various planning & visualisation tools. This role requires a results-driven and collaborative finance professional with strong Google sheets skills, who thrives in a dynamic, data-driven setting and is motivated to contribute to high-impact initiatives across the Rides vertical.

Responsibilities
  • Clear understanding of the vertical P&L, explaining growth drivers and deviations from budget to the vertical leadership team
  • Take part in the preparation of weekly / monthly / quarterly reviews presented to the Leadership and Management team
  • Take part in OPEX budgeting processes
  • Deliver ad-hoc analyses to better understand and improve the vertical's financial position
  • Build complex financial models using Google sheets.
Qualifications
  • Strong proficiency in Google Sheets, with a genuine enthusiasm for process automation
  • At least 3 years of experience in Finance Analytics, Business Analytics, or a similar role with exposure to financial analysis
  • A strong team player with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Solid understanding of key business metrics and their impact
  • Strong data visualization skills and the ability to present complex financial topics in a clear and accessible way to business stakeholders
